Brilliant plan!
I really like the idea of a storage box in Pre-Searing mainly because I find that dye is a little easier to come by just outside of Ascalon City, and I think it would be cool to be able to farm dye for awhile and then put it in storage for my Post-Searing characters to use. Not because of the market for it, but because of my desire to hoard dye.

Only question really is.. How does the storage survive the searing? ^.^;;

For that matter, how does the storage follow you around the world? Rofl.

Hrm...good point. ^^; They would have to have VERY sturdy strongboxes. As for how your stuff follows you around the world...that's just one of the mysteries of video games in general.

What? Guild Wars is a GAME?! I know, crazy isn't it? Now to find a way to get paid for playing it...

But being burned only affects my real life, right? So I can just go back to playing Guild Wars. ^__^

Regarding the side note: You got better.

If you read the storage lady's text before you pay for it, it describes why. Simple: Magic.

Further blasphemy! The rate at which this witch spouts her vile and temptuous speech verily has given unto me the reasoning alone to end that which she has begun! This heretical belief of the 'real life' must be stamped out! I do hereby call an inquisition!

Edit: Thanks sek, I was wondering. :P Magic explains everything

Okay, okay, okay...the first step is admitting you've got a problem... My name is Jaide and I once believed in 'real life'. u.u I promise to start one of those twelve step programs to stamp out any desire to ever do or say heretical things ever again. Is that better?

...and nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. ^^;

Default Tip of the day...

Sell your fur, linen, silk and char hides while they are expensive

I think it very deliberate that there are no vault in pre-searing, this is the one place where you can't mule stuff between your characters. So here everybody start on equal terms (apart from people with pre-orders, that is ). The vault don't really affect the game other than making it simpler to transfer items and now money, it was always possible.

Underworld is Southeast of Divinity Coast but you'll have to travel around plenty of zones to get to it. Bring lots of friends or someone who knows the route and has sprint.

As nice and appealing as the storage vault in pre-searing sounds... Would that be unbalancing to the PreSearing aspect of the game? Players would be able to put high end runes, or weapons or high game level items into a vault for their low end characters in presearing. Tho.. I am not sure exactly.. what service that would do really. LOL.

Not really. Considering there are requirements that you just couldn't meet at that level of pre-searing and even then, there's enemies that are too easy for you, no arenas to show off your leet pvp 'skillz' and no more missions to bother sticking around. Congratulations, you just made your entire replay experiance boring through your own actions but to each his own.

Sweet. Can't wait for the new updates, but 1 platinum to go to a level? I hope that the pathways of those levels are lined with rare items....

It won't be a big deal - after all, after the update, you will be able to have one MILLION gold in your vault. With each character able to hold onto 100,000 gold, that puts max wealth in gold per account at 1.4 million. I'm 19th level and without even trying I can pull around 5k gold in a couple hours just exploring around (still trying to find that damn collector grrrr LOL).

Good idea posting the planned changes early. Lets you get some feedback before implementation, as well as calms some of the upset players.
Score another point for ArenaNet

That is what I was thinking. You wouldnt be able to meet the requirments.. and even if you could.. Such as you shoved all your attributes in that single skill... but.. exactly how much fun would it be?!

But, Overall. I like the changes.
